Considerations to teletherapy

Some people have a hard time finding a private space that feels quiet enough, safe, and comfortable, especially if the therapy process is interrupted by family members, mail and food delivery people, or your pets.

Technical difficulties may arise that might disrupt the audio or video, altering the flow of the session.

Some people feel less intimacy in the relationship with their therapist when comparing in-person experiences to teletherapy, and canceling therapy or changing it last minute will be slightly more embarrassing.
